On the sidelines of the 58th session of the Human Rights Council, the North Africa Network of the Independent Commission for Human Rights organized, in partnership with international organizations, a side event entitled “The Right of Return: The Path to Justice for Refugees.”

The discussion brought together experts, legal professionals, and human rights advocates to address the legal, political, and humanitarian dimensions of the right of return, and to explore solutions to the challenges refugees face, including arbitrary detention and forced return to their homelands.
