The Executive Director was Honoured to participate as a working group expert on Indigenous populations in a pivotal continental workshop organised by the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights in Addis Ababa on 7-8 February. The event was dedicated to validating a major draft study on indigenous populations

and communities across Africa, featuring robust discussions with fellow experts, commissioners, the UN Special Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples, and civil society. A key outcome of our collaborative efforts was the careful review and refinement of the study's foundational mapping of indigenous communities, strengthening the accuracy and impact of this vital

document for future policy and advocacy.
