At The request of The United nations General Assembly in New York, the executive director participated in High level Panel: Informal Interactive Multi-Stakeholder Hearing as part of the preparatory process for the High-level meeting of the General Assembly on the appraisal of the United Nations Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons.

During this high level panel, he presented a statement and Recommendations to combat Trafficking in person in Northern Africa and the Sahel.
